Alternatively, Thai dishes can be found at Sun Star, and refreshing beverages at Mekunu Bar. Sun Island Resort & Spa is a 30-minute domestic flight (wheeled aircraft) from Male International Airport. A mandatory transfer is provided by the resort, and charges are to be paid upon arrival.

The air transfer lasts 17 minutes, travelling between Male International Airport and Maamigili Airport. This is followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride from Maamigili Airport to the resort. This additional cost is to be paid directly to the resort.
