Hotel Sport Barú offers a private beach access in the tropical island of Barú, in Cholon´s Cove. All rooms are surrounded by trees and provide ultimate peace and quiet. This hotel is located on an island that can be reached by motorboat in 45 minutes from Cartagena. The hotel offers a transportation service leaving from Cartagena at the dock at 8:30 and returning at 15:30. This service has an extra cost. The Rosario Islands are just a 10-minute boat ride away from Hotel Sport Barú.

Please note the hotel is located on an island. Boats leave on a daily basis to Barú at 8:30 hs., and return to Cartagena at 15:30, depending on the weather. Transport fees are not included in the rates and should be arranged separately with the hotel in advance. Boats leave from Manga neighbourhood in Cartagena, at Marina de Santa Cruz Harbor. The hotel warns guests arriving by all-terrain vehicles that the road is bumpy and deteriorated. The property reserves the right to transport pregnant women on board. Please note that food and beverages cannot be brought into the property. Please note transportation from the dock has an additional surcharge of COP 60.000 each way. The property is located in Ensenada de Cholon area, popular during high season, therefore guests may experience noise from boats passing by with music.
