Position of the Worms
Worms is a city in the southeastern part of Rhineland-Palatinate and is located on the west bank of the Rhine in the same district Worms.
Cathedral
The cathedral, located on the highest point of the city of Worms is the most important monument of Romanesque architecture and is closely associated with the name of Bishop Burchard and with history of the city during the 12th and 13th century. It was built between 1130 and 1181.
Sights
Worms Nibelungen Museum is the first museum in the world dedicated to the myth. It focuses on the saga of the Nibelungs.
Wasserturm (water tower) is with 58 meters height visible from a distance and stands on the west of the city of Worms.
Zoo
Worms Zoo is a zoo in the recreation area Bürgerweide in Worms. You can see there 80 kinds of animals and a total of about 400 animals.
