Esseratsweiler is the village near the town Achberg is situated in the valley of the river Argen at the border of Baden-Wurttemberg and Bavaria, in the southeastern part of the district Ravensburg.

Castle in the city is now owned by the district of Ravensburg and is used for exhibitions and concerts. Everyone who enjoys hiking and wants to enjoy nature here comes into its own. Popular tourist destination is a suspension bridge over the River Argen.
