Information about The Academy

The Academy is a simple bed and breakfast located in the heart of Venice, just off Palazzo Grassi and Campo Santo Stefano square. It offers spacious accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Saint Mark's Square is 2 water-bus stops away. Guest rooms and dorms at The Academy feature tiled floors, a fan, and central heating. You can use a communal living room and a storage room. A dining area is also available, and is equipped with a fridge, microwave, electric kettle and kitchenware. The nearest water-bus stations are San Samuele and Sant'Angelo.

Please note that for arrivals outside check-in hours, a surcharge will apply as follows: EUR 10 per person until 00:00, EUR 15 per person from 00:00 until 02:00. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property. You can bring your own bed linen and towels or rent them on site. To reach the property from Piazzale Roma or Venezia Santa Lucia train station, you can either take the Vaporetto waterbus line 1 (direction Lido) and get off at Sant'Angelo, or take waterbus line 2 (direction Lido and get off at San Samuele). Please note that waterbuses on line 2 do not stop at San Samuele before 9:00 and after 20:00. You can take waterbuses on line 1 instead. Please inform The Academy in advance of your expected arrival time.
