Surrounded by a large garden, meadows and forests, Haus Hochegg is a family-run farmhouse with horses set on a small hill, a 5-minute walk from the centre of Faistenau. Each room offers views of the surrounding mountains and has a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The family-run Haus Hochegg has a winter garden and a lounge with a shared kitchen. A cross-country ski run and hiking trails as well as Lake Hintersee are right next to Haus Hochegg. The Gaissau-Hintersee ski area is a 15-minute drive away. The city of Salzburg is reachable in 26 km, while the towns of St. Wolfgang, St.Gilgen, Mondsee and Bad Ischl are all within a 20-km reach. Parking is available free of charge.
