Information about Lafonense

Lafonense is a guest house located 2 minutes’ walking from Rossio Train Station, in a pedestrian street next to D. Maria II National Theatre. It offers simple rooms on the 2nd floor of a tiled building. Each room has a modest décor and access to shared bathroom facilities. Some include an in-room washbasin and a bidet. A shared kitchen is available for guests’ use, and guests can take advantage of Lafonense central location to explore the nearby cafés, snack-bars and restaurants. Rua Augusta shopping street is less than 5 minutes’ walking. Both Chiado and Bairro Alto are within a 10-minute walk from Lafonense. Lisbon International Airport is within 7 km from the guest house.

Please note that from the 1st of January 2016 a city tax of EUR 1 per person, per night is not included in the total price and should be paid on site. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of EUR 7 per guest. Please note that a deposit of 25% of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking. This payment is made by bank transfer. The Hotel will contact guests with further details. The remaining amount will be charged in cash at check-in.
