Information about La Moraia

Surrounded by 23 hectares of land in the Chianti area of Tuscany, La Moraia is a farmhouse producing olive oil and wine. It offers Tuscan-style apartments with a modern kitchenette, dishwasher and flat-screen TV. During summer, you can swim for free in the pool with views of the surrounding countryside. Apartments are set in the main building or in an annex within the La Moraia’s grounds. Each has wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Some have a fireplace, and face the garden, pool or nearby woods. You can buy olive oil at this family-run property, which also features trotting horse stables. Shops and cafés are found in Poggibonsi, 4 km from the Moraia. Siena and Florence are respectively 40 and 35 minutes away by car. You are advised to bring your own vehicle as the property is not serviced by public transport.

The heating and gas come at extra cost of EUR 5.30 per cubic metre. Please note that late check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and confirmation by the property. They come come at an extra cost of EUR 10 per hour. Firewood is only available if requested 2 days advance, and comes at the extra charge of EUR 10 per basket of firewood. Please inform La Moraia in advance of your expected arrival time.
