Set in a 100-year-old Welsh cottage with thick stone walls, Maes y Gwaelod is 1 mile from the village of Llanwrtyd Wells and 3 miles from the train station. The cottage is nestled in 20 acres of scenic countryside and situated down a quiet country lane which leads to the forest trails of the Cambrian mountains. Free WiFi is provided in each room at Maes y Gwaelod, as well as a private bathroom, flat-screen TV and countryside views. The property is also home to dogs and horses which live in the on-site barn. Guests are also free to bring their own horses which can be accommodated. Packed lunches can be provided on request.
