Information about Lisbon Old Town Hostel

Set in an 18th-century building, this hostel has dormitory rooms with a balcony offering views of Lisbon’s historic centre. There are 2 shared kitchens and 4 communal areas with a library, DVDs, music and games. All of the dormitories feature original polished wooden floors, bunk beds and a shared bathroom. Some have a seating area with an open fireplace. A daily breakfast is served for all guests and dinners can be ordered or you can use the kitchen facilities to prepare your own meals. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout Lisbon Old Town Hostel and there is cable TV in 1 of the lounges. A computer is also located near reception for guests to use. The Chiado and Bairro Alto districts, both within a 5-minute walk from the hostel, provide many bars, restaurants, museums and shops. Rua de São Paulo is a 2-minute walk away and Cais do Sodré station is 500 metres.

Please note that from the 1st of January 2016 a city tax of EUR 1 per person, per night is not included in the total price and should be paid on site. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of EUR 7 per guest.
