Information about Kanderhütte

Overlooking the Bernese Alps, the Kanderhütte is a 20-minute walk away from Kandersteg Train Station and a 20-minute walk from the Oeschinen Cable Car. It offers free Wi-Fi and parking as well as a paved outdoor seating area. The rooms are decorated with wood panelling and they feature a washbasin and wardrobes. Shared bathrooms are located on each floor. In the wintertime guests can go cross-country skiing, sledging, ice skating, curling or ice climbing. In summer there are numerous hiking and alpine trekking opportunities. A heated swimming pool can be found in Kandersteg. The Simplon Hotel, which is just steps away, also offers meals. A bus that is free of charge stops in front of the house.

Please note that the reception of the Kanderhütte is 15 metres away at the Simplon Hotel. Breakfast and dinner are served there as well. Please note that all meals must be requested in advance. Please note that the use of the shared kitchen is charged at CHF 10 per person.
