Information about Ferndale Lodge

Ferndale Lodge, a family-run guest house, is placed only a few minutes’ stroll from the centre of the charming Lake District town of Ambleside. With free parking, it also offers home-cooked breakfasts. Light, airy rooms each include tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a TV and shower room. Some rooms also enjoy splendid views over Ambleside, and guests have free Wi-Fi access in public areas of the property. A choice of continental or full English breakfasts are available at Ferndale. A Cumbrian breakfast is served daily using local produce, as well as lighter and vegetarian options on request. The cruise boats on Lake Windermere are 10 minutes’ walk away, whilst scenic Rydal Water is a 2 mile-drive. Windermere town is 5 miles away, accessible by buses that stop 2 minutes walk from the Lodge.

Guests are kindly requested to inform the property of their estimated time of arrival. This can be noted in the Special Request box when booking or by contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Arrivals after 19:00 must be agreed in advance. Pets are only allowed in the Pet Friendly double rooms, subject to availability and by prior arrangement.
