Information about Laurel House

Built in 1750, the adult-only Laurel House is a charming, traditional Cumbrian farmhouse located mid-way between Penrith and Appleby, and just 3 miles from Center Parcs, in the Eden Valley village of Culgaith. Each spacious, en suite room has a king-size or super king-size bed, luxury towels, and quality furniture along with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available in the resident’s lounge and in some rooms. Limited off-road parking is available. With a Visit Britain Breakfast Award, the excellent home-cooked breakfasts feature locally sourced produce, homemade bread and preserves, and a vegetarian option is also available.

Doors are locked at 23.30, keys are not issued and therefore there is no entry to Laurel House after that time. Laurel House does not accept bookings for the early Dalemain Ballon Flights, exhibitors at Lowther Show, Kendal Calling, Late Night Concerts and Weddings that require entry after 23.30. Check-in after 20.00 are strictly not accepted. This property does not accept American Express. Laurel House accepts Assistance Dogs.
