In an Alpine valley on the edge of the Sesto Dolomites, family-run Al Sole Hotel is 4 km from the centre of Auronzo di Cadore. It offers free bike hire and a children’s play area. In winter, Al Sole offers ski-to-door access. Just 1 km away is the Monte Agudo ski area, which in summer hosts one of the world’s longest fun bob tracks. The 3 Peaks of Lavaredo are 8 km across the slopes, and Misurina is 21 km by road. Each room has a flat-screen TV with free SKY channels. Breakfast is a buffet with cold meats, cheeses and cakes.
