Information about Ryokusuitei

Located on a hill, Ryokusuitei boasts spectacular forest views, large indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, and a spa offering beauty treatments and massages. The hotel features Japanese-style and Western rooms, a sauna and 2 restaurants. Local or French dishes can be enjoyed at the restaurant or in the rooms. The noodle restaurant overlooks the beautiful Japanese garden. Ryokusuitei also houses a piano lounge and 3 bars. Guests at Ryokusuitei can relax in the sauna or unwind with a massage. The open-air public bath is open 24 hours, and the giftshop offers an assortment of local sweets and delicacies. Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a Japanese-style area with a tatami (woven-mat) floor and traditional futon bedding, while Western rooms also have beds. All rooms are fitted with an LCD TV, a fridge and a safe. They have an attached bathroom and amenities including yukata robes and toiletries. Ryokusuitei is just a 20-minute walk from the scenic Rairai Valley, and a 25-minute drive from Akiu Otaki Waterfall. A free shuttle service is available once a day to/from Sendai Station, 30 minutes away.

To use the property's free shuttle, please make a reservation at time of booking. It leaves daily at 15:00 from Sendai Station's West Exit to the hotel, and from the hotel to the station at 10:00. Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
