Information about Schlosshotel Mondsee

Completely renovated in 2015, Schlosshotel Mondsee offers a unique setting within carefully renovated palace walls in the centre of Mondsee, next to the Basilica of Saint Michael and only a 5-minute walk from the shore of Lake Mondsee. Combining traditional and modern features, Schlosshotel Mondsee occupies Austria’s oldest Benedictine monastery. First mentioned in documents in 748, the monastery was turned into a palace in 1810.
