Information about The Cedars Hotel

Offering bed and breakfast accommodation and modern meeting facilities in the University of Reading’s Whiteknights campus, The Cedars Hotel boasts free WiFi and free parking on site. Rooms have contemporary décor, and all are equipped with a flat-screen TV, desk, telephone, and tea/coffee making facilities. Fresh towels, linen and luxury toiletries are also provided. Guests can take advantage of a number of facilities including The Reading Film theatre, the renowned Harris Gardens, Whiteknights’ lake, and the Sportspark. There is also a small supermarket based on the ground floor. The University’s Whiteknights campus has recently been voted one of the top green spaces in the country. The Cedars Hotel is just a 10-minute drive from Reading town centre and regular bus services go straight into the heart of the campus. Reading Train Station connects you to central London in just 25-minutes.

Kindly note the reception is not located in the main hotel. The reception is in the adjacent Park House, and is open Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00. If arriving out of hours please contact Campus Security using the intercom on the Cedars Hotel front door. They will allow you access to the Hotel and to your room. A map of the campus will be supplied once the booking has been made. Breakfast: Monday – Friday: 07:30 – 09:30 Saturday – Sunday: 08:00 – 09:30 Kindly note the accommodation is located on the first and second floor, and is accessible via stairs only. Therefore it may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment.
