Located in the small village of Commeire in the heart of the Valais, Montagne Alternative offers stylish and eco-friendly lodge accommodation. It offers yoga classes and massage treatments. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The rooms and chalets at the Montagne Alternative lodges are a blend of understated, chic décor with untreated wooden boards and modern furniture. All of the chalets offer wooden floors, an open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and an iPod docking station. Many of them feature views of Mont Blanc Massif and Mont Vélan. Guests can go ski touring or snow shoe walking in winter directly from the Montagne Alternative. Snowshoes and ski touring equipment can be hired on site. Guided tours are available at an extra charge. Commeire Bus Stop is only 50 metres away and Orsières‎ Train station 7 km away. The ski areas of Vichers-Bavon, La Fouly or Champex-lac can be reached within a 20-minute drive. Verbier's Les 4 Vallées ski area can be reached by car in 30 minutes.
