Situated on Beruwala Beach, The Palms offers rooms with sea views. Boasting an outdoor pool and 4 dining options, the resort also offers a fitness centre. Fitted with tiled flooring, air-conditioned rooms at the resort feature a TV with cable channels. The modern rooms include a minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. Private bathrooms come with a hairdryer. The Palms is a 10-minute drive from Kande Viharaya Buddhist Temple and about an hour’s drive via the Southern Expressway from Mirissa, a popular site for whale watching. The open-air restaurant at Palms offers Asian and Western dishes overlooking the garden. Seafood lovers can dine outdoors at Fisherman’s Wharf. Other dining options include a bar and a coffee shop. The resort’s front desk can arrange for day trips to Galle City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Activities such as deep-sea fishing and parasailing are also possible.
