Quick description

Situated by the seaside with impressive views of the fjord and mountains, Hotel Framnes offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a seating area and TV. Snæfellsjökull Glacier is 25 km away. All rooms at Framnes Hotel have tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom. Each room boasts views of either the mountains or the sea. The fully-licensed restaurant and bar seats up to 60 guests and serves home baked bread, fresh seafood delicacies and Icelandic lamb dishes. Vegetarians are also catered for. A sauna and outdoor hot tub are available on site. Boat trips to Melrakkaey Island, puffin watching and sea angling are popular summer activities. Whale watching is best enjoyed during winter. The Berserkjahraun lava fields are a 20-minute drive away. Route 54 passes 400 metres from the hotel.
