Information about Waldhotel Davos

Offering panoramic views over Davos, this 4-star superior hotel features a gourmet restaurant and a spa area with an indoor salt water pool. Free parking is available. The award-winning restaurant at Waldhotel Davos serves international cuisine as well as classic Grisons specialities. Spa facilities include a steam bath, a sauna, a salt water bath, a Kneipp pool, and a gym. A solarium and massage treatments are available at an additional cost. The Waldhotel’s rooms feature a TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Most offer south-facing balconies overlooking Davos. Known as the Waldsanatorium until 1957, the Waldhotel was the model for the sanatorium in Thomas Mann’s famous novel Der Zauberberg. On request, guests arriving by train are picked up from the station in Davos Dorf by the Waldhotel’s shuttle bus free of charge. The bus also takes guests to the nearby ski slopes.
