Information about Hotel Derby

The Hotel Derby offers a very central location on the main street of Zermatt, 50 metres from the train station and the Gornergrat Railway and a 5-minute walk from the Sunnegga Cable Car. Free WiFi is available. The rooms in the main building are furnished in chalet-style with a lot of wood, and the rooms in the Residence Bellevue building were renovated in winter 2014. Each unit comes with a minibar, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom. The property also offers apartments with a fully equipped kitchen. Most rooms have a balcony. The restaurant features a terrace and serves Italian and international cuisine, as well as flambé dishes. Half-board includes a 5-course dinner. The Klein-Matterhorn Cable Car and the Schwarzsee Lake can be reached by bus (included in the ski pass) or on foot in just a few minutes from the Derby Hotel. Shops can be found around the Hotel Derby and a tennis court is a 1-minute walk away. Hiking and biking trails start at the doorstep.

Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. Please note that the restaurant is closed from 09 October 2017 to the end of November 2017.
