Schwedt on the Oder is the most populous city in the district Uckermark in northeastern part of Brandenburg.
SightsYou will find here the former hunting lodge Monplaisir, the Evangelical Church of St. Catherine, Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Jewish ritual bath, the Jewish cemetery and the water tower. The tile on the Harlanstrasse reminds the pogrom in November 1938 and the destruction of synagogues in the Jewish community. Between the Oder and Hohensaaten-Friedrichsthaler Wasserstrasse is a natural floodplain landscape rich in flora and fauna, which is very rare in Central Europe. This area was declared a National Park Lower Odra Valley (Nationalpark Unteres Odertal) in 1995. Oder center is a big shopping center in Schwedt.

Luckenwalde is the county seat of county Teltow-Fläming in the region of Brandenburg. Luckenwalde is located about 50 kilometers south of Berlin. The city lies in a bay of the Baruth glacial valley, which here reaches out far to the south and merges with a fuzzy boundary in Kloster Zinnain the more southern Flaeming. This smooth transition has certainly encouraged by its transport favor the emergence of the city.
