It is situated in the region of Trenčín, in the valley of the Váh River, between the towns of Považská Bystrica and Púchov. The spa is located above Nosická water reservoir, which is called the Dam of Youth, 300 meters above the sea level. Climatic conditions have the characteristics of lowland climate with mild winters and warm summers; moreover, the spa is protected against north winds. There are springs of alkaline mineral water with temperatures from 10 to 13 degrees Celsius, and with the overall mineralization of 5000mg/l. Mineral water contains sodium, potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, chlorine, iodine and free carbonic oxide. The water is used for drinking inhalational treatments as well as for tube-carbonated baths. Offered treatments: mineral water drinking treatments, carbonated baths, water cures, underwater massages, classical, reflexive massages, medicinal physical training, collective as well as individual, electrotherapy, inhalational treatments, treatments by heat, sauna, swimming and water exercise, mechanotherapy.
