Vohenstrauss is a town in the Upper Palatinate, in the district Neustadt an der Waldnaab. The town is located in the front Upper Palatinate Forest, about 17 km southeast of Weiden in der Oberpfalz.
SightsThe city has two museums. Vohenstrauss City Museum and the Museum of gems. You will find the castle Friedrichsburg and the castle Waldau. The Evangelical Lutheran parish church in the marketplace came into its present form since 1845 after the destruction of the previous fire in 1839 and 1763. Rodenbach is a municipality in the district Main-Kinzig in the county of Hessen. Rodenbach is near Hanau, about 20 km east of Frankfurt am Main on the edge of Vorspessarts and is mostly surrounded by forest, which is part of the Hessian Spessart nature park. Both districts lie on the same name river Bach, known in its lower reaches as a Lache. It flows southwest the Rodenbach through Bulau and there opens into the Kinzig, which flows north over the direction of Hanau to Rodenbach. The nearest major town next to Hanau is Langenselbold.
