The Spreewald is situated in Sorbian swamp and it ´s a large lowland area with a historical landscape in southeastern Brandenburg. The Spreewald include meadows and moorland and it has national importance for nature conservation and is protected by the state as a biosphere reserve. The area is one of the most famous destinations in the state of Brandenburg.
