Hunsrück is a low mountain range close to the town of Simmern. In the north west of the Hunsrück is bordered by the Moselle and in the east of the Rhine river. Higher peaks in  Hunsrück are: the Idarwald, the Soonwald, the Binger Wald. The Erbeskopf is the highest peak.  There are deep valleys along the Moselle, virgin forests, old water mills, ruins where you can enjoy beautiful views.
