Kassel

Kassel is an independent city and administrative seat of the district bearing the same name Kassel. The town has many different museums and monuments. A large number of parks and open spaces in the city is ideal for walks, sports and games. Kassel is one of the oldest theater cities in Germany.  Fully equipped and lighted ski resort has a 510 m long ski slope, which is suitable for skiers and snowboarders.

In the spa area of Bad Wilhelmshöhe are spa facilities with thermal brine and thermal baths, which are focused on health and wellness. There is more than 600 species of trees and bushes in the mountain park Wilhelmshöhe, which is one of the largest and most beautiful in Europe. It is one of the most impressive spa parks.

Art

Documenta is not a selling exhibition of modern and contemporary art which takes place every five years in Kassel in Germany.
