Travemünde in Lübeck Bay

Location

Travemünde is part of Lübeck in Schleswig-Holstein, which lies at the mouth of the river Trave in Lübeck Bay. Travemünde with its own ferry Skandinavienkai is the most important German port for the marketing of goods in Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Norway.

Old Lighthouse

You will find here The Old Lighthouse - the lighthouse was built in 1539 by Dutch bricklayers from bricks. It is almost 31 meters high and consists of eight floors. It serves as a maritime museum for lighthouse technology.
