Fürth

Fürth is a district town of the district Fürth in the Bavarian region of Central Franconia, east of Nuremberg. Centers of both cities are located approximately seven miles apart. The historical center is located east and south of the river Rednitz and Pegnitz.

Sights

The oldest surviving church in the evangelical church of St. Michael. It comes mainly from the Gothic period, but was later rebuilt several times. One of the most impressive buildings in the city Fürth is the State Theatre in neo-Baroque style, which is part of the famous Viennese architects Helmer and Felmer from 1902. Old Jewish Cemetery, which was founded in 1607 is the most important surviving evidence of a long and distinguished story of Jewish history in the city.
