Velburg

Velburg is a town in Upper Palatinate district Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz. Velburg is a small historic town located in the Oberpfälzer Jura. You will find here the ruins of the castle and chateau Velburg Helfenberg, and the parish church of the birth of the Virgin Mary at Oberweiling.

With its 50 districts, it is surrounded by forested hills in a varied, almost untouched landscape of the central Franconian.
