Taurasteinturm in Burgstädt

Location

Burgstädt is a small town in the district Mittelsachsen in Saxony. It is located about eight kilometers northeast of Limbach-Oberfrohna and 15 km north of Chemnitz.

Sights

The most visible and landmark of the city is a stone tower Taurasteinturm, which offers a beautiful view of the surroundings, to the park and recreational facilities, lakes and playgrounds. Forest cemetery with Art Nouveau church cemetery is designed as a park, and has a rich variety of trees and shrubs. Burgstädt neighborhood is very attractive especially for hikers.
