Health resort Gemünden am Main

Location

Gemünden am Main is a town in Lower Franconia´s district Main-Spessart in Bavaria and lies about 40 km down the river Main from Wurzburg. In the city the river Sinn flows into the Franconian Saale river and this then flows into the Main river. The main changes in Gemünden its direction: move from the northwest to west arround the Main Square to Lohr am Main city. For this reason Gemünden am Main is a state-approved health resort, also known as the "Franconian city of three rivers".
